In most garments you'll find a label with different care instruction symbols. With so many different icons it can be a bit confusing what the manufacturer is trying to tell you.
So for your convenience we'll explain in this post what the different care instruction symbols mean so you can take proper care of your garments.

Now that you know what the different symbols mean keep in mind that you should always handle your garments as gently as possible. Eventhough according to a label it's ok to iron a piece of clothing on the hot setting if it's hardly wrinkled it's better to use a low setting or maybe you don't even need to iron it at all.
Same goes for the washing on high temperatures. Often it will be sufficient to just refresh a t-shirt by soaking it in some water (with a little detergent and/or fabric softner) or wash it on a cold(er) temperature.
Also if you can line or drip dry (drip dry is drying the garment on a hanger) in the shade why use the tumble dryer? When you treat your garments carefully you will enjoy them for a longer period of time.
